Why Hardaker has been let go
Wigan Warriors boss Matty Peet has revealed to Wigan Today why Zak Hardaker has left the club.
It followed an interesting period where the fullback/centre had been dropped for ‘dipping’ below standards. Read more here.
Two clubs back out of Hardaker deal
There has been much deliberation about where Zak Hardaker will end up in the next stage of his career. But, two clubs have ruled themselves out. Read more on one club here. The Yorkshire Post has also reported on another club.

A former Wigan Warriors and Warrington Wolves star has passed away.
Both clubs led tributes over the weekend after the news emerged, with rugby league fans also joining in. Read more here.
Wilkin slams Hardaker
It’s safe to say that St Helens legend Jon Wilkin is not happy about the attitude of former Wigan Warriors star Zak Hardaker.

Leeds rejected
A former NRL Grand Final-winning coach has rejected a move to Leeds Rhinos, according to the Daily Telegraph.
The news comes in the wake of Leeds appointing Rohan Smith as head coach on a three-and-a-half year deal. Read more here.
Radford identifies
Castleford Tigers head coach Lee Radford has identified why his side were able to beat a youthful St Helens side on Friday. Read more here.

Double-header debate
There has been much debate surrounding the double-header Easter weekend following St Helens head coach Kristian Woolf’s decision to rest a whole host of players.

Fages important update
Huddersfield Giants head coach Ian Watson has given an important update on star halfback Theo Fages.

Ganson’s admission
Referees boss Steve Ganson has made an admission on refereeing calls on the Sin Bin podcast.
Ganson revealed that there were two major decisions that officials have got wrong in the 2022 season so far. Read more here.
Powell’s referee support
Warrington Wolves head coach Daryl Powell has told The Sun that referees have told him that Warrington were ‘robbed’ against Hull FC.
Powell was outspoken against some of the decisions when Warrington went down to Hull.
Sneyd’s absence
Marc Sneyd was absent in Salford Red Devils’ loss to Wigan Warriors yesterday in a surprise move.
The Red Devils went down 30-24 against Wigan but the halfback was unavailable due to a knee injury. Read more here.
48-0 win
A team has been handed a 48-0 win following the failure of the opposition to provide suitable medical cover.
It follows the RFL’s decision to increase the punishment from a 24-0 loss to 48-0. Read more here.
Widdop absent
Warrington Wolves were able to beat Huddersfield Giants at the weekend, but they had to do so without key man Gareth Widdop.
