Hull KR and Leeds Rhinos will officially be heading stateside to be involved next year’s Rugby League Las Vegas event. The two Super League sides have been selected to be part of the event on February 28, with the two clubs going head to head at the Allegiant Stadium.
The Robins will be the home team in Sin City, with the east Hull outfit giving up a home game at Craven Park to be involved in the experience. With the World Cup taking place at the end of next season, Super League is set to kick off earlier next year and that means the meeting could potentially be a round four clash.
The Super League game will be one of three games played at the home of Las Vegas Raiders, with St George Illawarra Dragons, Canterbury Bulldogs, North Queensland Cowboys and Newcastle Knights all making the trip from Down Under. With Canterbury Bulldogs currently leading the NRL and Hull KR on top in Super League, there’s a real chance that both league winners could be involved in the event.
Rugby League Las Vegas 2026 details confirmed
The event will be one match shorter than last season, with no women’s game, but with Rovers and Leeds set to travel in their numbers, the hope will be that an even bigger crowd can pile into the stadium. This season’s official attendance was 45,209 and that’s 20,000 shy of Allegiant Stadium capacity.
Hull KR and Leeds were two of several Super League teams to show interest in the event, with Hull FC, St Helens and Leigh Leopards among the clubs thought to have put themselves forward.
Next year will be the third time rugby league has been played in Las Vegas, with the NRL’s first trip coming in 2024 with two games being played. This year saw the first Super League game being played with Wigan Warriors beating Warrington Wolves 48-24 and the hope is that Rovers and Leeds can put on another fine advert for the Northern Hemisphere game.
