It’s fair to say round 15 of Super League was enthralling, with plenty of talking points emerging from the six games played. Hull KR were clearly the biggest victors of the round as they moved four points clear at the top with a win over Castleford Tigers.
Wigan Warriors have it all to do now in the race for the League Leaders’ Shield after they lost to Wakefield Trinity, while Leigh Leopards now sit third just three points behind them after beating Catalans Dragons.
St Helens and Hull FC claimed important wins, while Huddersfield Giants picked up just a second victory of the season so far as they edged out Warrington Wolves.
Serious About RL were across all six games and here’s our team of the week from round 15.
Super League team of the week
Full-back: Tristan Sailor (St Helens)
Sailor is clearly more comfortable at full-back than any other position on the field and he looked the part on Friday against Leeds Rhinos. He scored a try and set up the other two to get Saints over the line. He also made 173 metres in 21 carries which deserves praise.

Wing: Jacob Gagai (Huddersfield Giants)
Two tries and a tackle that prevented Toby King from touching down in the corner lands Gagai in our team of the week. He was excellent at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
Centre: Jack Broadbent (Hull KR)
Broadbent just keeps on impressing in red and white. He got two tries and set up two more in what was a demolition of his former club Castleford.
Centre: Taane Milne (Huddersfield Giants)
Milne had arguably his best performance in a Huddersfield shirt to date against the Wolves with a try and an assist coming. The Super League stats show he made 143 metres, too, but his afternoon was tarnished slightly by a gouging allegation which has gone unpunished by the Match Review Panel.
Wing: Tom Davies (Hull KR)
Davies’ numbers from Thursday night say it all: Two tries, one assist, 24 carries and 241 metres made. A simply sublime evening for the winger, who is enjoying a dream first year with the Robins
Half-back: Mikey Lewis (Hull KR)
When Lewis plays well, Rovers play well and it’s fair to say his standards haven’t slipped in some time now. He made 162m at The Jungle and set up two tries. He also made 23 tackles as the half-back got stuck in for his teammates.
Half-back: Tui Lolohea (Huddersfield Giants)
When he’s fit and firing on all cylinders there are few better that Lolohea in attack and he showed that on Saturday. He claimed just one assist officially but he had a hand in most of the things Huddersfield did well with the ball in hand.
Prop: Dean Hadley (Hull KR)
Played huge minutes through the middle for the Robins and laid the platform for Broadbent’s try early doors. Over the course of the contest he made 37 tackles and ran for 141m with an average gain of eight.
Hooker: Zac Woolford (Huddersfield Giants)
A top class performance from Woolford to mark his new Huddersfield deal. He made 48 tackles on the day as he put his body on the line.
Prop: Caius Faatili (Wakefield Trinity)
One of Wakefield’s star men on a night Trinity supporters won’t forget in a hurry as they stunned the champions. Faatili scored the first on the night, made 30 tackles and 136m.
Second-row: Josh Griffin (Wakefield Trinity)
Arguably the most impressive on the night for Daryl Powell’s side. He touched down in the first half and impressed with his work rate in defence, helping to prevent Harry Smith from having a say on the contest.
💪🏻 BIG GRIFF!!

Second-row: Kelepi Tanginoa (Hull KR)
Stepped off the bench to make a huge impact for the Robins. He got himself a try assist while also made 195 metres from 18 carries.
Loose-forward: Morgan Knowles (St Helens)
Knowles always digs deep and he did so again against the Rhinos, making 47 tackles over the course of the clash. St Helens are really going to miss him when he leaves to join the Dolphins at the end of the year.
