Super League team news: Sam Tomkins decision made as Hull KR welcome Catalans and Hull FC host Cas

Catalans Dragons

Super League returns tonight and the team news for both games has been confirmed including Hull KR versus Catalans Dragons.

The Robins will be hoping they don’t suffer a Challenge Cup hangover in what is a potential banana skin against a Catalans side who are reeling from three consecutive losses to nil.

Joel Tomkins still leads the side and a decision has been made on younger brother Sam, who was named to the 21-man squad but does not feature against Hull KR.

As for Hull KR, they’ve replaced Joe Burgess with Noah Booth, Micky McIlorum with Bill Leyland and Eribe Doro steps up in place of Jared Waerea-Hargreaves. Sam Luckley does miss out.

Over in the West side of Hull, John Cartwright’s side host Castleford Tigers with their line-up almost as expected given the injuries to Will Pryce and John Asiata. Jordan Rapana slots in at full-back with Tom Briscoe playing in the centres.

Zac Cini moves to full-back for Castleford due to Tex Hoy’s injury whilst Liam Horne plays hooker with Chris Atkin at loose forward.
