Super League team news as Leigh Leopards make five changes plus Warrington Wolves squad for York Knights clash named

There are four teams in Super League action on Friday night and the team news is now in, including for Leigh Leopards who are short on numbers.

Adrian Lam confirmed on Tuesday that the Leopards are without ten players including Edwin Ipape and Umyla Hanley, however, there was some positive news in that Bailey Hodgson’s injury was not as bad as first feared.

Rather than being a season-ending ACL injury, Hodgson suffered a PCL tear that will rule him out for eight weeks, which whilst still a blow is far better than what was feared.

The Leopards host Catalans Dragons on Friday night with both teams coming off torrid defeats, whilst York Knights host Warrington Wolves in the other game.

York defeated Hull FC by just one point whilst Warrington defeated Wakefield with Marc Sneyd proving crucial. Now, all four clubs have confirmed their 21-man squads for Friday night’s games.
