The Super League team news is in for Saturday’s games with 21-man squads confirmed for Wakefield Trinity v Bradford Bulls and Warrington Wolves’ trip to face Catalans.
Bradford are the only one of those four sides who did not play in last week’s Challenge Cup quarter-finals but that’s not to say they’re all that well-rested with the Bulls missing several key players.
Head coach Kurt Haggerty confirmed fresh long-term injury blows for Waqa Blake and Phoenix Steinwede with both men out for 12 weeks, whilst he also admitted to fears of being unable to name a 21-man squad.
As it turns out, Haggerty has been able to name a 21-man squad for the 3:00 pm kick-off against Wakefield Trinity. Saturday’s later game sees Super League table-toppers Warrington Wolves head to Perpignan to take on Catalans Dragons, who will be led by interim coach Ryan Sheridan after the confirmed exit of Joel Tomkins.
The squads for all four teams have now been confirmed.
