Super League round 16 referee appointments as official confirmed for Leeds Rhinos v Hull KR

Super League round 16 is just two days away from starting and the referee appointments have now been confirmed, with the standout game being a repeat of Las Vegas as Leeds Rhinos take on Hull KR.

Rovers fans and neutrals will be hoping that the event is not another blowout with the Rhinos having scored over 50 in the early season showpiece, however, Leeds do enter the game on strong form having knocked off Warrington last week to go outright top of Super League.

Hull KR know a win can claw them back within two points and breathe life into their hopes of retaining the League Leaders Shield that they won in 2025.

That game will be Friday when Castleford Tigers and York Knights will also face off, however, there is a Thursday game and that sees Warrington Wolves host Catalans Dragons as Sam Burgess’ side look to bounce back from their defeat against Leeds.

Onto Saturday and Wigan Warriors head to Hull FC in red-hot form before Leigh travel to Toulouse where it will be red hot on the field, with temperatures predicted to soar to 36 degrees celsius.

There’s an even later game on Saturday as Bradford Bulls welcome St Helens in a match that puts Kurt Haggerty up against his former colleague Paul Rowley, whilst Sunday’s game wraps up round 16 of Super League as Huddersfield Giants seek to end their losing run when they travel to Wakefield Trinity.
