Super League Magic Weekend is behind us but the next fixtures are upon us and that’s seen the referee appointments confirmed for round 18 of the competition where the headline games see Wigan Warriors face Warrington Wolves and Hull KR host Wakefield Trinity.
Three of those four sides won at Magic Weekend with Warrington the defeated side, losing to Leigh, and that’s ensured the race for the play-offs are even tighter with all of Wigan, Wire and Wakefield on 24 points, with Hull KR sat two back on 22.
Round 18 starts with York Knights seeking a third straight win and they’re back at home facing Hull FC, who they beat in the reverse fixture, with the Black and Whites coming off the back of a derby defeat.
Friday sees a wounded Wigan take on an equally wounded Warrington in a game that will show off plenty of future stars, whilst Huddersfield host Bradford that same night with the Bulls still looking for a first away win.
Saturday starts with Leigh hosting Castleford before the clash between Hull KR and Wakefield. The day’s rugby is rounded off with Catalans hosting Leeds Rhinos in the heat.
Sunday concludes the action as St Helens look to bounce back when hosting Toulouse who thumped Catalans at Magic Weekend and will surely be full of confidence. The referee appointments for all seven Super League games is in now with confirmation below.
