The Super League Man of Steel points have been revealed for Round 15, the final time that they will be made publicly available this year.
Every week in Super League so far, the Man of Steel points have been revealed with three, two and one points handed out for the star performers in each match.
At the moment, Leeds Rhinos man Jake Connor leads the standings by five points from Herman Ese’ese and the rest of the chasing pack, however, this is the final update that fans will get until the results are confirmed at the end of the season.
Each year, the Super League Man of Steel table goes dark with the voting becoming secretive before the final three players are announced ahead of the annual award ceremony.
In 2024, Matt Dufty, Bevan French and eventual winner Mikey Lewis were confirmed as the final three with all three having performed well ahead of the table going dark.
The final round of points have been updated so we know what the standings look like ahead of the final 12 rounds of the season.
Mikey Lewis moves into fifth for Super League Man of Steel race
The biggest winner from Round 15 was undoubtedly the reigning Man of Steel Mikey Lewis as he was the only player in the previous top 10 to pick up any points.
He grabbed two points in the win over Castleford Tigers with Jack Broadbent claiming three and Tom Davies bagging one. Lewis’ two-point haul has taken him to 12 for the season meaning he is still nine points behind Connor, but certainly in with a chance of retaining his crown.
Mason Lino moved into the top ten thanks to his two points for Wakefield’s upset win over Wigan Warriors, something which crucially denied third-place Jai Field from scoring any more points. Josh Griffin claimed three whilst Tom Johnstone bagged one for his try in that game.
Friday’s other game saw Matty Lees claim all three points thanks to his massive effort in the middle in St Helens’ win over Leeds Rhinos. Moses Mbye (two) and Owen Dagnall (one) also scored.
Zac Woolford took three points for his Man of the Match performance against Warrington, with Tui Lolohea scoring two and Marc Sneyd scooping up a single point in defeat.
Gareth O’Brien returned to the action for Leigh and claimed max points with try-scorers Joe Ofahengaue (two) and David Armstrong (one) also scoring points in their 26-12 win over Catalans.
Sunday saw Hull FC beat Salford with Zak Hardaker claiming max points. Sam Eseh scored two and Cade Cust one for their tries, however, Man of the Match Aidan Sezer missed out. He still sits fourth in the rankings.
Former winner Bevan French currently sits tied for 12th on eight points alongside six others including teammate Jake Wardle.
