Super League Magic Weekend is just days away, and the referee appointments for the huge spectacle have been confirmed, with standout games on both days.
Saturday is headlined by the Hull derby as Hull FC look to punish the champions, whilst Sunday, and the event as a whole, is rounded off by Wigan Warriors taking on St Helens in what will be the third clash between the sides this season.
The first two games, one on Good Friday and one in the Challenge Cup, have not been short of talking points and they’re sure to rear their head again after what’s expected to be a fiery affair.
Whilst that will be the last, Super League Magic Weekend actually kicks off at 12:30 on Saturday when bottom-of-the-table Huddersfield face York Knights, with that game leading into the Hull derby.
Leigh Leopards and Warrington Wolves round off the Saturday action at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, however, the action continues in France as Catalans Dragons and Toulouse Olympique face off in Castres in the late slot.
Onto Sunday and there are two West Yorkshire derbies before the curtain-closing clash between Wigan and Saints, with Wakefield Trinity and Castleford Tigers opening the proceedings on Sunday before the season’s second instalment of Leeds Rhinos versus Bradford Bulls.
