Super League have reported some huge broadcast and attendance figures for both the Grand Final and the play-offs with a handful of records broken.
We’re a few days out from the Super League Grand Final at Old Trafford which Hull KR won, defeating Wigan and avenging their 2024 defeat, whilst also securing the treble.
It makes them just the fifth side to do so and that narrative of Hull KR seeking a treble versus Wigan seeking a third Super League crown in a row fed into huge attendance and broadcast figures.
The game sold almost 700 more tickets than last year, when you could have reasonably expected a decline given it was the same match-up, and it was also viewed by 816,000 people across Sky Sports and the BBC.
It’s officially the second most watched Super League Grand Final ever on Sky Sports, and the game drew the highest audience share for a Grand Final on record.
They’re just a handful of the stats from what has been a brilliant Super League play-off run, both on and off the pitch.

Super League play-offs reach new heights
In terms of digital reach, 58,000,000 impressions were made on social media across the play-offs and Grand Final. That’s an increase of 49% on 2024, with both social media engagements and video views up as well, 12% and 14% respectively.
The attendance across the four play-off matches ahead of the semi-final drew a cumulative audience of 51,974. That’s the second-highest for that format and you could argue that more may have attended if possible as Hull KR sold out their home semi-final for the second year in a row.
The Grand Final attendance of 68,853 marked the highest since 2017 and the tenth-best all-time, whilst also improving on the 2024 figure.
In terms of broadcast, the Grand Final was the largest Sky Sports audience of the season whilst the play-off semi-final between St Helens and winners Hull KR was the 2nd-most watched game across Sky Sports and the BBC in 2025.
This is all in addition to the largest cumulative audience for a 12-team and 27-game season, with an average of over 10,000 fans at each game in 2025.
