Wigan Warriors have named their 21-man squad for this Saturday’s Super League Grand Final against Hull KR, as they look to become only the third team in the modern era to complete a three-peat.
Leeds Rhinos were the first team to achieve that feat, following consecutive wins in 2007-2009. St Helens then bettered that by going unbeaten from 2019-2022. Wigan, who already have seven Super League titles, have the opportunity to go back-to-back-to-back, following wins in 2023 and 2024, the latter of which came against the Robins.
Having finished second this year, Matt Peet’s men earned themselves a week off in the opening round of the playoffs, before beating local neighbours Leigh Leopards last week to book their place at Old Trafford.
The Warriors left that game unscathed, and have been able to name an unchanged side to the one they put out a week ago.

Young hooker Tom Forber is the only person in the Warriors first team to currently be battling injury. However, it was highly unlikely he would have made the squad anyway, given the form of England hopefuls Brad O’Neill and Kruise Leeming.
Whilst it still leaves Peet a selection headache, deciding which three players have to miss out on the matchday squad, he is fortunate to have his best stars available to him at the time it matters most.
Star men Bevan French and Jai Field, who missed out on the Man of Steel award to Leeds’ Jake Connor, will both play key roles in the match on Saturday night, with Harry Smith also providing a huge threat from the boot.
Props Liam Byrne and Harvie Hill could leave the club in the best way possible with a Grand Final ring this week, with the pair leaving the club at the season’s end.
Wigan Warriors 21-man squad: Jai Field, Abbas Miski, Adam Keighran, Jake Wardle, Liam Marshall, Bevan French, Harry Smith, Ethan Havard, Brad O’Neill, Luke Thompson, Junior Nsemba, Liam Farrell, Kaide Ellis, Patrick Mago, Liam Byrne, Kruise Leeming, Tyler Dupree, Harvie Hill, Sam Walters, Zach Eckersley, Jack Farrimond.
