Super League has reached it’s showpiece event, as Hull KR and Wigan Warriors look to etch their name in the history books and become the 2025 Grand Final winners.
This year’s match-up at the Theatre of Dreams is one of the closest to predict in a long time. For Hull KR, they have the opportunity to complete their first ever treble. After already winning the Challenge Cup and securing the League Leaders Shield, Willie Peters’ men will want to complete a clean sweep of trophies, to cap off what would be their best season in the club’s history.
Meanwhile Wigan are looking to win the competition for the third year in a row. The Warriors successfully defeated Catalans Dragons in 2023, before seeing off Hull KR in a 9-2 victory last year. Knowing that they can beat the Rovers when it matters most, Matt Peet’s side will have confidence they can do it once again and clinch their eight Grand Final win.
The bookies odds are in for Saturday’s match, and there is not much to split the teams at all. Super League title sponsors, Betfred, have given the tag of odds-on favourite to Wigan, as they believe they are more likely to emerge victorious this weekend.
The Warriors are priced at 4/6 odds, which means that if you placed a £1 bet on them to win, and they did, it would return £1.67. Hull KR, meanwhile, are priced at 13/8.
Comparing that to other bookmakers, the likes of Bet365 and William Hill have Wigan as favourites, albeit at 8/13 whilst Hull KR are priced at 29/20 and 6/4 respectively
