Super League clubs Hull FC and Warrington Wolves have both confirmed loan moves to the Championship for some of their young talents, whilst the Black and Whites have also announced a permanent exit.
Hull FC have announced that recent debutants Ben Johnson and Lennon Clark will make short-term loan moves to the Championship given the fact that there are no Super League Reserves fixtures.
Both men debuted against Leigh Leopards but with bodies now returning, they’re out of the first-team picture yet still need game time, thus they’ve been loaned out.
Clark will make the move to join local side Goole Vikings and play under Scott Taylor this weekend, whilst Johnson has linked up with Hunslet on a one-week loan deal.
The Black and Whites have also confirmed that off-season signing Joe Phillips, who arrived from Taylor’s Goole, has been released to explore other opportunities in the sport. Phillips failed to make a senior appearance for Hull FC.

Super League young guns make loan moves
Warrington have also utilised the loan system with Ben Hartill and Jake Thewlis both joining Oldham on one-month deals.
Hooker Ben Hartill and winger Jake Thewlis will add plenty to a Roughyeds team who are challenging near the top of the Championship.
Hartill has previously made loan appearances for three other Championship sides this season, whilst Thewlis is Oldham-born and a former Waterhead junior.
Speaking on the signings, Oldham boss Alan Kilshaw said: “We’re delighted to bring both players into the squad and we are hopeful we can extend them after the initial month period.
“We have been short on numbers, and both will add depth to our squad.
“We are again grateful to Warrington Wolves for their assistance in getting the deals done.”
Another Super League youngster making a loan move is Connor Carr with the Huddersfield Giants man making a season-long switch to Dewsbury Rams.
Hull KR have also utilised the loan market this week with four of their young talents making the switch to Goole Vikings on a ‘short-term loan’. Jack Charles, Harvey Horne, Cobie Wainhouse and Flynn Holden will all link up with Scott Taylor’s side.
