Just over halfway into the 2025 Super League season and the tally for ever-present players, or players who have featured in every game for their club, still stands at 37.
We’re 14 rounds in and plenty have made long Challenge Cup runs as well which highlights how impressive it is to still be turning out every single week on a consistent basis.
Some of the 37 have started every game, whilst one player has played off the bench in all 14 of his appearances, with another making 13 sub appearances.
That doesn’t diminish from the achievement at all as injuries, fatigue and disciplinary are things that all players on this list of Super League ever-presents have had to contend with.
It’s no surprise that no Salford Red Devils players feature with Paul Rowley having to change his squad every week due to the ever-changing circumstances at the club. It’s worth noting that Jack Ormondroyd has played in every game bar Round 1, making him the Salford player to appear the most in 2025.
Every other team has between two and four ever-present players barring Leeds Rhinos who have a whopping seven players that have played in every single game, accounting for almost 20% of the ever-presents in Super League.
Of those, Sam Lisone is the man to play off the bench every week, whilst the likes of Morgan Gannon, James Bentley, Tom Holroyd and Jarrod O’Connor having all played in 13 of the 14 games. That consistency is perhaps the biggest indicator to why Leeds have been so successful, but how it will treat them come the business end of the season in terms of fatigue will be interesting.
Fourteen rounds into Super League, here are the 37 players to have featured in every single round.
