Super League attendance as three games top 10,000 and competition passes one million fans in 2026

A high-scoring round of Super League saw the competition’s one millionth fan in 2026 pass through the gates this weekend, with several clubs posting strong attendance figures.

Round 15 of Super League marked the 100th game of the 2026 Super League season and in that game, between Hull KR and Leigh Leopards, the one millionth fan of the current campaign walked through the turnstiles.

Prior to round 15, 97 Super League games had been played in 2026 with a total attendance of 973,725 and after Friday night, the one million mark was surpassed with both games at Hull FC and Hull KR seeing crowds of more than 10,000.

The action started on Thursday night when Leeds Rhinos made a statement at Warrington, beating the Wolve 34-6 in front of just over 10,000 fans, many of whom had travelled.

Friday saw the Hull sides have differing fortunes as FC lost 36-10 to Wakefield in front of a 12,000-strong crowd, whilst KR beat Leigh 22-8 in front of over 11,500.

Sunday saw York Knights hammered 72-20 by Wigan Warriors before Catalans held off Bradford Bulls in a 34-24 win with over 8,000 watching, whilst Castleford drew a crowd of almost 7,500 for their 36-18 win over Toulouse.

The action concluded on Sunday when St Helens beat Huddersfield Giants 38-6 in front of just under 10,000 fans, taking the total round attendance to over 60,000.
