Super League new boys Toulouse Olympique have made a huge statement of intent in re-signing star full-back Olly Ashall-Bott to a new four-year contract extension.
It means the English full-back is under contract until the end of the 2030 season in a renewal that warns off plenty of rival Super League suitors, but also shows confidence from the French side regarding their own Super League status ahead of 2027.
In only their second season in Super League, Toulouse have been a welcome addition to the competition and at the heart of their four wins so far has been Ashall-Bott, with the Englishman the competition’s form full-back in the opening few rounds.
While that form has dipped somewhat, Ashall-Bott still has nine tries so far in 2026, a further five assists and a league-leading 97 tackle busts, highlighting how evasive he is.
He’s also inside the top ten for meters made with the full-back averaging over 100 meters per game so it’s no surprise that Toulouse were keen to re-sign him.

Olly Ashall-Bott signs new deal
Confirming the deal, a club statement read: “Toulouse Olympique is delighted to announce that full-back Olly Ashall-Bott has extended his contract for the next four seasons.”
Ashal-Bott was among the highest-profile off-contract players in Super League so his re-signing is a massive boost for Toulouse, who currently sit 12th in Super League with four wins from 13 so far.
On his new deal, the 28-year-old said: “I’m so happy to be staying at Toulouse… the club ive called home for the past 4 years! I’m extremely excited about what the future holds here and I feel lucky to be a part of the next years here.”
The full-back will be in the stands watching when Toulouse host Leeds Rhinos on Friday night as he has not been named in the squad due to what is believed to be an injury concern.
