St Helens and Leeds Rhinos face off in one of two Friday night Super League games, with one side in better form than the other.
St Helens have picked up points in recent weeks but mostly against Super League’s bottom sides, including Catalans Dragons, Huddersfield Giants and last week’s victory over Salford Red Devils.
Leeds are flying high in third in the league and have been playing some of the best attacking rugby as of late.
They’re unbeaten in the last five matches, meaning Saints will have to be at the top of their game to win.
Following the 21-man squad news, here’s how St Helens and Leeds Rhinos will line up for tonight’s game.
St Helens v Leeds Rhinos squads
St Helens team news
Saints boss Paul Wellens has made a big call in the halves, selecting Moses Mbye to partner veteran Jonny Lomax.
That means he’s selected the same back five that beat Salford Red Devils last week, with Tristan Sailor continuing at fullback.
With Joe Batchelor out with a calf injury and Curtis Sironen missing with a back spasm that forced him off the field last week, there are changes in the pack.
Jake Wingfield gets a starting spot in the second row alongside Matt Whitley, and George Delaney comes onto the bench.
Jake Burns is also named in the interchanges and the young hooker looks set to spell with Daryl Clark at some point.
St Helens XIII: Tristan Sailor, Kyle Feldt, Harry Robertson, Deon Cross, Owen Dagnall, Jonny Lomax, Moses Mbye, Alex Walmsley, Daryl Clark, Matty Lees, Jake Wingfield, Matt Whitley, Morgan Knowles.
Interchanges: Agnatius Paasi, George Delaney, Noah Stephens, Jake Burns.
Leeds Rhinos team news
Leeds boss Brad Arthur has named an unchanged side that beat Warrington Wolves convincingly last weekend.
Lachlan Miller stays at fullback, after he was brought off in their victory over the Wolves, with Arthur stating it was precautionary following his return from injury.
Usually, the Rhinos make at least one change in the forward pack, which means Cooper Jenkins misses out again as the 18th man.
Cameron Smith will be making his 150th Super League appearance when he comes off the bench.
Leeds Rhinos XIII: Lachlan Miller, Ryan Hall, Harry Newman, Ash Handley, Riley Lumb, Jake Connor, Brodie Croft, Keenan Palasia, Jarrod O’Connor, Mikolaj Oledzki, James McDonnell, Morgan Gannon, Kallum Watkins.
Interchanges: Tom Holroyd, Sam Lisone, James Bentley, Cameron Smith.
