St Helens may have sailed through to the next round of the Challenge Cup with ease, but their win could have come at a cost.
The Red Vee travelled to Cumbria to take on Workington Town, and scored 17 tries in a 98-2 victory over the Championship outfit.
Jack Welsby, Tristan Sailor and Kyle Feldt all scored hat-tricks in the win, whist six other players also got on the scoresheet.
However, one man who had an early exit from the field was Matty Lees, the England international prop who is currently celebrating his testimonial year.
After taking two carries in the same set, Lees looked to charge over the line, but good defence from the Workington players kept him out.
As the big man was going down in the tackle, his leg got caught under a Town man, and that is what has caused the potential injury.
The 28-year-old did want to stay on the field, but given the fixture and the fact Saints were 28-2 up at this stage, he was not risked and limped from the field to get treatment.

Speaking to The Sportsman post-match, head coach Paul Rowley, who started his competitive coaching career at Saints in incredible fashion, said there is hope that the injury isn’t as bad as it first looked.
He said: “Regarding Matty Lees, he took a bang to his knee.
“We will check that out tomorrow, I don’t think it’s as bad as first feared, I think it just spooked him a little bit.
“We’ll see how he is tomorrow when he gets on the medical table.”
