St Helens take on Catalans Dragons tonight and calls have been made on Tristan Sailor and Jonny Lomax’s places in the team.
Club captain Lomax was dropped earlier in the season but was named on the bench at Magic Weekend against Leeds Rhinos, being brought on early in a move that saw NRL signing Sailor shifted to the wing.
Head coach Paul Wellens admitted that playing Sailor on the wing was “an option” that the club had considered as Saints look to fix their misfiring spine.
Lomax was the game-winner against tonight’s opponents Catalans earlier in the season with his two drop goals guiding the Red Vee to a 14-13 win in Perpignan.
St Helens sit sixth in Super League with Catalans in seventh with both teams boasting records of fives wins and five losses during what has been an uncertain season for each side. Ahead of tonight’s game which kicks off at 8 pm at the Totally Wicked Stadium, the teams have been confirmed.

Alex Walmsley and Daryl Clark return to the starting XIII with Agnatius Paasi and Moses Mbye playing off the bench.
