Salford RLFC have confirmed two more permanent signings to their side, with a Championship duo making the switch.
The club confirmed on Tuesday evening that head coach Mike Grady would be leaving the club due to “changes in personal circumstances”, meaning they are without a permanent boss as it stands.
Grady’s assistant, Dave Hewitt, has taken over first team duties in the interim, and he has been helped by two players joining the club for the remainder of the season, after successful loan spells.
The Rochdale Hornets duo of Jack Holmes and Danny Lynch will link up with the phoenix club, after both have featured for the side on loan in recent weeks.
Holmes has made one appearance for Rochdale this term, featuring on the wing in a 20-defeat to Whitehaven. The 32-year-old is a vastly experienced head, and has made over 150 appearances in his career to date.
Lynch, a prop forward, has featured off the bench twice for Rochdale, but is another that has found game time hard to come by.
The former Swinton Lions man has made just six senior appearances so far, including Salford’s most recent game, where he came off the bench in a 66-6 defeat to London Broncos.
