Salford RLFC have confirmed an upcoming fan event that will see some ‘surprises’ revealed ahead of the new 2026 campaign.
Updates are expected to come thick and fast at Salford in the coming days, especially considering they start the Championship season off in just ten days time and, at time of writing, they have yet to confirm any squad members publicly.
What they have done is confirm Mike Grady as their head coach with Debeau Performance also announced as the kit producer and fans will now get a chance to see that kit at an upcoming fan forum that’s been announced.
Salford RLFC are inviting fans to attend the Corpacq Stadium, formerly Salford Community Stadium, on Monday, 12th January with the event set to include a Q&A with the ownership group, including new chief executive officer Ryan Brierley.
It’s yet another strong example of the promised transparency that was so lacking under the previous ownership.
Salford RLFC announce fan forum event
Taking to social media, Salford RLFC confirmed details of the fan forum and explained what can be expected for those who attend.
The event, which is free, has limited spaces and will be held at the club’s stadium on Monday, 12th January at 7:oo pm with fans invited to register their interest.
A post on social media announced: “Fans Forum – 12th January, 7pm. Meet the new ownership, ask questions, get an exclusive first look at the new kit and a few more surprises.”
A link to a Google form for those wishing to register interest was also included.
Those ‘surprises’ could include player signings and/or squad number announcements with zero players publically confirmed, though CEO Ryan Brierley previously told Serious About Rugby League that the club would have a squad for their season opener with Oldham.

The mythology of transparency and trust is exactly that, a myth.
A bit like seeing a unicorn or anything new or useful on social media.

Want some surprises?
Last year’s joke did not go down well. It will take very little to beat last year’s lack of truth.
I don’t think that I’ll bother……………

Good because Salford RLFC definitely don’t need dorks like you. Do us all a favour and stay away permanently.
