There has been an abundance of brilliant goal kickers in Super League history. From Kevin Sinfield to Sean Long, turning fours into sixes has won countless games for teams, and often goes underrated when compared to try scoring.
Jai Field and Mikey Lewis are the top two in the league for try scorers, and they are rightly getting all the plaudits they deserve. But goal kicking is just as vital when it comes to scoring points, and those extra two points after a try can be the difference between a win and a loss.
So, who is excelling from the boot this season? Here are the top 10 goal kickers based on their conversion rate in the 2025 Super League campaign. (Minimum 20 attempts, all stats correct as of Round 17)

10. George Whitby – St Helens – 70.6%
The young halfback is not only impressing with ball in hand but is also handy from the tee. Kicking 24 goals from 34 attempts, he will only improve as he develops his talent and gains more experience.
9. Gareth O’Brien – Leigh Leopards – 71.1%
Slotting over 32/45 attempts, O’Brien shares the kicking duties with Ben McNamara, who also features in this list. The 33-year-old is perhaps more known for his drop goal attempts, but he is still a confident kicker for Adrian Lam’s side.
8.Ben McNamara – Leigh Leopards – 73.9%
McNamara has taken less attempts, but still boasts a better conversion rate that teammate O’Brien. Kicking 17 from 23, the Leopards have plenty of option when it comes to taking kicks at goal.
7. Jake Connor – Leeds Rhinos – 75%
Being successful 39 times from 52 attempts, Connor is averaging three goals from four this season. After a slow start, he started to find form. The role was initially shared with Lachie Miller, but Connor has certified himself as the Rhinos’ number one kicker.
6. Rowan Milnes – Castleford Tigers – 75.75%
The little tries that Castleford have scored this season, they have generally tended to be converted. Milnes has slotted over 25 goals from 33 attempts so far, giving him a rate of just over three quarters.
5. Arthur Mourgue – Hull KR/Catalans Dragons – 77.6%
Despite kicking the most goals in the league this season, Mourgue only sits fifth on this list. 59 goals is impressive, but 17 misses brings his conversion rate down. He has been impressive from the tee, but it remains to be seen whether Rhyse Martin will take over kicking duties now he is back in the Rovers side after injury.
4. Max Jowitt – Wakefield Trinity – 79.7%
Jowitt has been Trinity’s key player this season. Switching from full back to the halves, he has impressed wherever he is needed and has a brilliant kicking record in addition. Kicking 51 from 64 attempts, the 28-year-old can find himself unlucky to not be part of Shaun Wane’s 32-man England train-on squad.
3. George Flanagan Jr – Huddersfield Giants – 80.6%
Like Milnes, Huddersfield have found it hard to get over the try line this season, scoring just 36 tries. His penalty goal at Magic Weekend was the difference in Huddersfield gaining their first win of the season, and with a conversion rate of 25/31, the Giants have a star on their hands.
2. Adam Keighran – Wigan Warriors – 82.6%
It is a mystery how Adam Keighran is still yet to sign a contract for 2026, with his goal kicking alone a reason to keep him in the side. Wigan tried Harry Smith as their kicker, but when that plan didn’t work, Keighran stood up to the task and performed exceptionally well off the tee. He has kicked 57 from 69 attempts.
1. Guillermo Aispuro-Bichet – Catalans Dragons – 84%
Despite kicking a lot less goals than the majority of this list. Catalans’ new kid off the block is impressing in his maiden Super League season. Kicking 21 goals from 25 attempts so far, a conversion rate of 84% puts him top of this list. It will be interesting to see whether he keeps the same form throughout the rest of the year, or whether there will be a new leader come October.
