Ranking every 2026 Super League kit released so far including Hull FC and Leeds Rhinos following Leigh Leopards’ bold new design

Super League

Leigh Leopards have dropped their first shirt created by Debeau Performance and it’s eye-catching to say the least, but where does it rank among every 2026 Super League shirt?

The Leopards have been one of the biggest success stories in recent memory in Super League with their rebrand from Centurions to Leopards, which was mocked by many, having been more successful than most would have expected.

One man who clearly believed that success would follow is club owner Derek Beaumont, and he has been forthright in taking Leigh from a yo-yo team to genuine contenders in Super League.

Not only do they catch the eye due to their playstyle, they’ve caught the eye due to their kit choices since that rebrand and the 2026 home shirt, revealed on Wednesday night, is no different.

A nod to the club’s red and white traditional colours but with the Leopard-print that fans have come to expect. The jury is still out on it for some but one things for sure, you won’t mistake who is playing when they don it.

Following that kit launch, we’ve ranked all the kits launched by Super League teams so far with 23 kits launched across twelve separate teams. At the time of writing, York Knights and Wigan Warriors are yet to release their shirts.

Every 2026 Super League kit ranked

23: Huddersfield Giants Away

Going from worst, in our opinion, to first and it’s Huddersfield’s away strip that starts things off. Black stripes pair with a lilac colour to create something that doesn’t feel particularly Huddersfield, nor particularly striking.

22: Leeds Rhinos Alternate

The Rhinos have often been experimental and incorporated themes in their alternate kits with the 2024 one particularly nice but this black edition with yellow trim doesn’t land as well.

21: Hull FC Alternate

It’s a love it or hate it strip and another that’s recieved plenty of attention online, much like Leigh’s kits, so in that sense it’s made it’s impact. However, the pink fading into blue with black sleeves doesn’t work for this writer.

20: Hull KR Alternate

Above their rivals, as has been commonplace in recent years, but that’s not much to ride home ahout with this alternate shirt. The club have since changed the yellow shorts but the teal-coloured shirt with yellow trim is still questionable.

19: Wakefield Trinity Away

A fine shirt in truth but just like last year’s home shirt seemed to take inspiration from Sydney Roosters, this one feels like a Melbourne Storm rip-off.

18: Catalans Dragons Home

White shirt with gold and red chevrons and a well-placed sponsor works wonderfully for 90% of the shirt but it then moves into a navy blue across the top of the shoulders and around the neck, which seems very out of place.

17: Castleford Tigers Alternate

A kit launched for the club’s centenary but it doesn’t feel all that special. A black shirt with gold trim and thin stripes doesn’t spark much inspiration.

16: Huddersfield Giants Home

The first side to have both their home and away listed and we’re not even into the top 15 yet. Huddersfield have got the claret and amber working fine but the white section across the chest and sleeves makes this feel like a training top.

15: Toulouse Olympique Home

All blue. That’s it really. Simple but not the most effective.

14: St Helens Away

A green away strip for St Helens with white trim and fading chevrons down the shirt. Nice, but makes you fancy a pack of mints.

13: Leeds Rhinos Home

After the smash hit that was 2025 with the club’s traditional blue and amber and a retro collar, this feels like a step back and a loss of identity with a completely different colour scheme adopted. That said, it’s still a middle of the pack shirt.

12: Castleford Tigers Home

A move back to amber as opposed to orange and black which has been so prominent in recent years, however, the black trim sleeves and collar bump it up the list.

11: Hull FC Home

There’s only so much you can do with black and white. The club have gone back to their Challenge Cup glory days with a chevron but it’s interrupted by the sponsor to create a liquorice allsorts-type design.

10: Leeds Rhinos Las Vegas

You get the sense that a lot of the clubs going to Vegas in the coming years will adopt some form of stars and stripes and Leeds are no different this year.

9: Wakefield Trinity Home

Less white and red than in previous years but the contrasting blues go very well on this shirt with the sponsor also looking very clean.

8: Catalans Dragons Away

All red with gold chevrons. It’s the traditional colours of the club and the region. Very nice.

7: Hull KR Home

The Robins have really simplified it on this one with a single red band across the chest to signify their initial nickname of Robins and nice details on the sleeves.

6: Hull KR Las Vegas

There really isn’t much difference between their home and their Vegas shirt so both sit just outside the top five, albeit the gold detailing of Las Vegas in the middle of the chest and the stars and stripes on the Super League arm sponsor ensure this pips the traditional home.

5: Leigh Leopards

They’re finally on the list and for some, this may be far too high, but it is so evidently Leigh and so evidently the Leopards. It’s a perfect culmination of the rebrand and whilst it is a little bit busy, it’s a shirt that’s quickly growing on this writer.

4: Bradford Bulls Home

Back in the big time and they’re back with a classic. Red, amber and black across the top with a classy collar and nice trim on the sleeves. A lovely kit that might make watching games at Odsal a bit more pleasant on the eye.

3: Warrington Wolves Away

The first entry for Warrington Wolves and it’s their away shirt which sees thick vertical red and white striples on the front with black sleeves and back. The white Hoover logo stands out. Clean, crisp, a top tier shirt.

2: St Helens Home

The club have taken it back to, or at least taken inspiration from, 1996 with thin stripes across the abdomen and the classic red and white chevrons on the chest. A throwback badge goes with it and it’s one that is an instant classic.

1: Warrington Wolves Home

Their away shirt claimed third and now the home shirt has finished top, something Wire fans having witnessed since the 1950s and this shirt feels like a modern take on those traditional colours. Horizontal hoops, a collar for good measure and something that is equal parts striking and simple.
