NRL tease Las Vegas line-ups as official announcement date confirmed

Hull KR and Leeds Rhinos are heading to Rugby League Las Vegas

Las Vegas has become a second home for rugby league, and the NRL is preparing for their 2026 trip nearly a year in advance.

This year’s event was the second instalment of the event at the Allegiant Stadium, and included a Super League fixture and a women’s rugby league international for the first time too.

Four games across one day saw Wigan Warriors beat Warrington Wolves 48-24 before the NRL game between Canberra Raiders and New Zealand.

The women’s international between England and Australia followed that, and the day was finished off with Penrith Panthers against Cronulla Sharks in the NRL.

2024 saw Manly Sea Eagles take on South Sydney Rabbitohs, followed by Sydney Roosters facing Brisbane Broncos.

However, there were multiple reports of four games being too many and 2026 is set to feature three games instead.

Which Super League and NRL teams will feature in Las Vegas in 2026?

Super League has secured one of those games, but the Grand Final winners could feature, as it is rumoured that the World Club Challenge could be one of the fixtures also.

Hull FC, Hull KR, Leeds Rhinos, Leigh Leopards and St Helens have all expressed an interest in taking a Super League game on the road to Las Vegas.

However, it’s looking more likely that it will be two NRL games for the third year in a row.

Since the event has featured different teams each year, there could be nine NRL clubs in line to make their Las Vegas debut.

Super League and the NRL look to be creating much more of a partnership than in previous years, with talks of the NRL taking over Super League still ongoing.

With an official announcement expected on Wednesday 14th May about the Las Vegas games, fans will then be able to start planning a trip to see their club in the bright lights of Sin City.
