NRL superstar Tom Trbojevic has moved to explain where his recent links to Super League may have come from.
Reports emerged earlier this month suggesting Trbojevic would be open to making the move to the Northern Hemisphere once his contract with Manly Sea Eagles comes to an end.
The full-back, who looks set to play at centre this week, still has a season and a half left to run on his deal, but the Sydney Morning Herald claimed a move to Super League for 2027 could be on the cards for the Australia international.
Trbojevic has been asked about those claims this week and the 28-year-old has moved to clarify where they may have emerged from.

“I think I got asked something along the lines of ‘would you go to a different club than Manly?’,” he told the press down under.
“I said that right now I wouldn’t even consider it at the moment. I love playing for this club and I’ve got two brothers here that I play with as well that I wouldn’t want to play against so that’s where it’s come from.
“I have another year and a half here so it’s not really a worry at all. I love playing for this club and I’m just excited to have the opportunity to get us back to where we need to be.”
Trbojevic has been with Manly throughout his entire career so far, making 160 appearances and touching down on 106 occasions. He has made just eight appearances this year, though, with injury restricting his game time for the Sea Eagles.
Anthony Seibold’s side are currently 10th in the NRL and if Trbojevic can stay on the field, they’ll be confident of kicking on to claim a play off spot.
