NRL Las Vegas 2026 teams revealed for showpiece event

The official announcement for the NRL Las Vegas event in 2026 comes tomorrow but the teams have already been confirmed.

It’s no surprise that rugby league is heading back to Sin City after the huge success earlier this year with the 2025 edition seeing Super League involvement for the first time.

The NRL will return to Las Vegas for a third year in a row with the date and teams now locked in according to The Daily Telegraph.

An official announcement from both the NRL and Super League will come on Wednesday but per the reports Down Under, the games will be played in Allegiant Stadium on February 28th, with the games being played into the early hours of March 1st for those watching in the UK.

Sky Sports put on brilliant coverage for this year’s event which including a live studio in the UK and presenter Brian Carney stateside on hosting and commentary duty as well.

Which NRL sides will play in Las Vegas in 2026?

That should continue in 2026 with and it’s now confirmed that the NRL teams in action in Las Vegas are the Canterbury Bulldogs, St George Illawarra Dragons, Newcastle Knights and North Queensland Cowboys.

It means some of the sport’s biggest stars will head stateside, following in the footsteps of the likes of Nathan Cleary who went earlier this year.

Canterbury will be led by arguably the best centre in the world in Stephen Crichton whilst other stars from the Vegas-bound teams including Valentine Holmes, Kalyn Ponga and Reece Robson.

According to The Daily Telegraph, Parramatta, Manly and the Dolphins also expressed interest but they look set to have to wait until 2027 for their chance.

So far, eight teams have played in Vegas and the reports that the Bulldogs, Dragons, Knights and Cowboys will play there in 2026 mean that 12 of the NRL’s clubs will have participated in the event.

It’s still unclear if a women’s game will be played after the huge win for Australia over England in March, whilst the Super League teams will be officially announced along with the confirmation of which NRL sides face each other.
