McDermott in court

Current Featherstone Rovers head coach Brian McDermott was in court on Tuesday, according to The Stray Ferret.

The former Leeds Rhinos boss pleaded guilty to a driving offence. Read more here.

Bradford Bulls are set to appoint a surprising name as their new head coach, according to The Full Eighty Minutes podcast.

Hughes to leave Wire and Leeds’ salary cap problem

Another exit from the Warrington Wolves is expected with captain Jack Hughes the next to go, according to Examiner Live. It follows the news that the likes of Mike Cooper, Josh Charnley and Jason Clark are all leaving.

The same publication has also revealed that Leeds Rhinos are unlikely to bring anyone new into the club given their salary cap situation following Zak Hardaker’s mid-season move, whilst Leroy Cudjoe also wants to stay at the Huddersfield Giants.
