The 2026 Magic Weekend event has reached it’s latest ticketing milestone, as Super League switches from Newcastle to Merseyside.
Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium will host this year’s two-day event, as iconic rivalries and local derbies are played out across what is set to be a mouth-watering weekend of action.
The rivalries of the Hull FC and Hull KR, Wigan-Saints and Leeds-Bradford will all be on show as Super League looks to continue to put it’s footprint on the north west of England.
Following on from off-field success in the second Test of the Ashes series, the Hill Dickinson Stadium will host it’s second rugby league event, after both fans and stakeholders were left heavily impressed with the Premier League’s newest stadium facility.
That hype has seen ticket sales soar, and the sport have now announced that a huge 60,000 tickets have been sold already, with eight sections of the stadium now fully sold out.
The lower bowl is currently 90% sold out for Saturday’s action, a day that includes the Hull derby, and is fully sold out for Sunday’s matches.
An attendance of 60,000 already is huge news for the sport, and that figure surpasses the two-day attendance of five different Magic Weekend events in the past – 2007, 2009, 2010, 2019 and 2024.
What’s more, is that the 2025 event had a combined attendance of 64,156, meaning that only around 4,000 more tickets need to be sold in order to beat last year’s crowd.
The biggest ever attendance for a Magic event is 68,276, which was recorded in 2016. Theis year’s instalment could well overtake that number given that there is still over three months to go before the big weekend.
Super League are running an early bird offer whereby if you purchase tickets before Midnight on Thursday 26th March, you can get 20% off, and if you are a season ticket holder at a Super League club, booking through your team’s website can earn you a huge 50% off, so don’t miss out on what is set to be a truly action-packed weekend.
