London Broncos have confirmed the signing of the recently released Castleford Tigers back-rower, Jeremiah Simbiken.
In what is yet another PNG international that will join the club, the 25-year-old joins the likes of Gairo Voro, Finley Glare and Robert Mathias in making the move to England’s capital, and will link up with Kumuls boss Jason Demetriou in the Broncos project that will hopefully see them become a Super League side once again.
Simbiken has been linked with a move down south since his exit from the Onebore Stadium. He joined Castleford on a one-year deal ahead of 2025, and made 14 appearances across the year.
Injuries and suspensions hampered his time at the club, but on his day he can be a solid edge player, with Demetriou hoping that he can unleash Simbiken’s potential when he links up with some of his international teammates.
His signing was confirmed live on Sky Sports, with the Broncos boss revealing the news in an interview with Jenna Brooks. He said that his new recruit is a “welcome addition” and he can’t wait to see what he has to offer.
London Broncos confirm latest recruit ahead of 2026
Simbiken’s addition now means that the club have 26 players on their books for next season, as they look to earn promotion to the top flight following their rejected bid earlier this year.
NRL stars and London academy graduates mix to make a well-balanced squad for the Championship campaign, and Simbiken’s inclusion only bolsters their rosters, with him having experience in both Super League and on the international stage.

One of Cas’s better players last season, missed a lot of games through injury and suspensions. Good luck to him at London.
