London Broncos are set to make their latest signing, and it comes in the shape of another Papua New Guinean international.

Following the signings of Finley Glare and Morea Morea, head coach Jason Demtriou, who is also the PNG’s national team head coach, revealed that more of his Kumuls players will be coming through the door this off-season.

Since the takeover by Darren Lockyer and Grant Weschel in September, the club have signed up over a dozen players to their 2026 squad, in what is a mix of retentions, NRL stars and up-and-coming talent. They have also been very vocal in their ambitions to improve the club both on and off the field, in the hope to improve the stature of the sport in England’s capital.

Now, they are set to bring in another recruit for the Championship season, with PNG international Gairo Voro the next name linked with the club.

According to reports Down Under, Voro will be joining his international boss at the Broncos next year.

Aged 22, the half-back is yet another player in the PNG Hunters system who, under the coaching of former Leeds Rhinos and Wakefield Trinity man Paul Aiton, finished 7th out of 15 in the Queensland Cup this year.

Making 19 appearances and scoring seven tries and recording 12 assists, Voro has been compared to NRL star Jarome Luai, due to both his playstyle and hairstyle.

He made his Kumuls debut in this year’s Pacific Championships, and scored a try on debut. He started that game alongside Lachlan Lam, before lining up alongside Broncos signing Glare to form the PNG halves partnership.
