Leeds Rhinos host Catalans Dragons in their final home game of the Super League regular season and we’ve predicted how each side could line up.
The key news is that Leeds will be without Jake Connor with the Man of Steel frontrunner left out of their 21-man squad having picked up a rib injury last week against Huddersfield, meaning the Rhinos will have to find a new half-back pairing.
Jack Sinfield presents the likely option but the bigger question is if Connor will be fit for next week’s game against Wigan Warriors, where Leeds could leapfrog the reigning champions into second, claiming that all-important home semi-final.
Leeds are two points back and trail by 65 on points difference but that’s still a figure that could be overturned, especially if the Rhinos better Wigan’s result this week. The Warriors host Castleford on Friday night.

Leeds Rhinos predicted team
Sinfield replacing Connor is the main decision and it seems a relatively straightforward one for Brad Arthur but he will potentially have a headache in the centres with co-captain Ash Handley still absent.
Max Simpson replaced him against Hull FC but was stretchered off but he now returns, however, Ned McCormack filled in last week very impressively so the younger man could be backed to keep the shirt.
Keenan Palasia and Tom Holroyd both return from injury with the latter back after a lengthy lay-off, meaning he could start from the bench alongside ever-present sub Sam Lisone, and versatile pair Andy Ackers and James Bentley.

Catalans Dragons predicted team
The 21-man squad showed a host of changes for Catalans but they’re still able to name a strong team on paper, however, that’s been the case for much of the year with on-field performances lacking.
Luke Keary returns in the halves to partner Theo Fages as Ugo Tison could be forced to hooker given Alrix Da Costa’s ban and Denive Balmforth’s loan recall.
Tevita Pangai Jr and Franck Maria were both banned so the props take a hit but Chris Satae and Romain Navarrete still pack plenty of experience.
