Leeds Rhinos make forward switch as St Helens make major spine changes after Jackson Hastings ban

St Helens have confirmed who will replace the suspended Jackson Hastings in tonight’s clash against Leeds Rhinos.

In a double halves change, both Jonny Lomax and George Whitby will play together in the six and seven roles, with Jack Welsby returning to his more natural positon of full-back.

That has pushed Tristan Sailor out to the wing, with the returning Kyle Feldt being named on the opposite flank.

Harry Robertson returns in place of Deon Cross, whilst Alex Walmsley is named in the starting 13.

Jake Davies comes back into the side, whilst Tom Humphreys will make only his second Super League appearance after making his debut back in April against Hull FC.

Home side Leeds keep the same 17 that beat Huddersfield a fortnight ago, with the only change being that Kallum Watkins starts the game and Cameron Smith will come on from the bench.

Ash Handley and Chris Hankinson will make their 250th Leeds Rhinos and 100th career appearances respectively. Jack Bird isn’t deemed fit enough for a return, meaning Harry Newman keeps his place at centre.
