Leeds Rhinos and Bradford Bulls have confirmed their squads for today’s pre-season friendly at AMT Headingley.
In a game that celebrates the career of Leeds star Cameron Smith, it is also both club’s final warm-up game before the 2026 campaign begins, so both sides will be looking to squeeze as much as they can out of the performances.
Leeds, who named their side earlier in the week, have gone as strong as they possible can, with almost all of their senior squad playing a role.
Only Maika Sivo, Keenan Palasia and Jeremiah Mata’utia are absent from the side, with head coach Brad Arthur providing a fitness update on the latter two earlier today.Â
Lachie Miller, Brodie Croft, Jake Connor and Danny Levi will all start in the spine, whilst testimonial man Smith starts at 13, in what is his first game since July.
The former skipper suffered a back injury that required surgery, a process that ruled him out for the second-half of the 2025 campaign.
For Bradford, seven of their new signings are named in the starting 13, including half-back Jayden Nikorima.
His thought-to-be first-choice half-back partner, Rowan Milnes, is absent though, and Joe Keyes will partner the ex-Salford man in the six and seven.
Loghan Lewis will feature for the first time for his new club, meaning that of the heap of signings the club have made, only Ed Chamberlain, Joe Mellor and Will Gardiner are yet to feature for the Bulls.
