Hull KR youngster set for Super League switch after club grant early release

Hull KR have announced that young prop forward, Leo Tennison, has left the club ahead of the 2026 season.

Despite still being under contract for another 12 months, the club have agreed for him to depart Craven Park, which will allow him to move to another Super League club.

Where his next home will be remains to be seen, however Tennison leaves after making a two top flight appearances, with a singular game coming in the 2023 and 2024 campaigns.

A product of the club’s youth system, the 21-year-old has been a regular in the reserve grade side, and was part of the squad that travelled to Amsterdam to take on York Knights in pre-season.

The signings of Jordan Dezaria and Tom Amone suggest that game time would have been unlikely for the youngster, with the prop hoping for more first-team opportunities wherever he ends up.
