Hull KR v Huddersfield Giants teams as Willie Peters rotates ahead of Challenge Cup final

Willie Peters has made changes to his Hull KR line-up to take on Huddersfield Giants at Craven Park this evening. With the Challenge Cup final on the horizon, Peters was always going to be mindful of minutes heading into that game and Peta Hiku and Sauaso Sue have both dropped out of the line-up.

Both Hiku and Sue have featured in every game this season but neither man features against the Giants and Peters will be asked about his selection by journalists after the game.

As such, Noah Booth is given the opportunity to impress at centre alongside Tom Davies, while last week’s man of the match Jack Broadbent features at centre on the other side. Arthur Mourgue returns to the fold at full-back after being cup-tied last weekend, while Dean Hadley starts through the middle for the Robins.

James Batchelor returns to his usual back-row spot, while Bill Leyland will be given an opportunity off the bench with Peters probably keen to manage Jez Litten’s minutes.

Luke Robinson has named an unchanged starting XIII to take on the Robins, which will be seen as something of a luxury for the head coach given the injuries he has had to contend with this season.

Tom Burgess drops out of the fold through injury, while Jack Bibby drops off the bench to become the 18th man. Harry Rushton is fit again and steps onto the bench, while George King looks set to make his Giants debut against the club he left at the end of last season.
