Hull KR have sent two of their recent signings and an academy product out on loan, whilst Castleford Tigers have also utilised the loan market to get game time for one of their own youngsters.
The Robins have utilised the loan market plenty in 2026, even sending players to fellow Super League clubs with the most notable being Bill Leyland and Jordan Dezaria’s switch to St Helens for the Good Friday derby.
This time Hull KR have sent three players to Championship side Goole Vikings with Flynn Holden, Frankie Dearlove and Declan Murphy the trio to make the move to join Scott Taylor’s side.
Both Holden and Murphy are recent recruits with former Warrington Wolves academy product Holden joining the Robins in early June, whilst Declan Murphy was signed from Salford in the off-season.
Meanwhile, Dearlove is a Hull KR academy product with the forward having been involved in the Yorkshire academy Origin side last year.
The trio will all be available for Goole’s home game against the Championship’s other Vikings, Widnes, with Scott Taylor’s side looking to make a late play-off push.
Also making the move to the Championship for a week is Castleford Tigers’ young playmaker Jenson Windley with the half-back joining Halifax Panthers.
Whereas the Hull KR trio are linking up with Goole for just one week, Castleford have sent Windley on a month-long loan to the Panthers.
Halifax play Swinton Lions this Sunday before coming up against Oldham and Dewsbury later in July.
