Super League leaders Hull KR have confirmed a new deal for one of their rising home-grown talents who had been off-contract.
Harvey Horne was one of a handful of Hull KR players without a deal beyond the end of the current season, however, that’s changed with the Robins now renewing the winger’s deal.
It’s been confirmed that Horne has signed a new deal that keeps him at Craven Park until the end of the 2027 season with the 20-year-old touted for big things.
Horne is yet to make his Super League debut for the Robins and has spent much of this season out on loan, representing both Doncaster and Sheffield Eagles but this re-signing highlights the club’s intent to make him part of their set-up in the long-term.
New of Horne’s new deal was announced by Rovers, who said: “Hull KR are delighted to confirm that winger Harvey Horne has signed a new contract with the club, keeping him at Sewell Group Craven Park until the end of the 2027 Betfred Super League season.”

The winger has also played at full-back whilst out on loan which showcases his versatility with the academy graduate delighted to sign a new deal with his boyhood club.
Speaking on the deal to club media, the 20-year-old said: “Hull KR is my boyhood club and I’ve been here since scholarship, it’s great to stay with the club.
“It’s a good place to be at the moment with the group we have and the team winning the Challenge Cup. The challenge is now to push for selection this season and next year.”
Having spent time on loan with Doncaster, who are coached by former Hull FC man and Horne’s Uncle, Richard, the winger noted how it had aided his development.
Horne said: “It was a good test for me. Most young players need the game time in the Championship before they step up to Super League.
“Been coached by my Uncle (Richard Horne) at Doncaster was a bit weird but it was a great experience. At Sheffield all the lads were great and the game time was good for my development.”
He was also included in the 21-man squad that travelled to Wembley for the Challenge Cup Final, something he described as ‘surreal’ whilst highlighting it as an experience to stand him in ‘good stead for the future’.
Willie Peters commented on Horne’s extension, noting: “Harvey’s new extension is thoroughly deserved. He’s worked hard to continue his development and improve over the last year.
“We’re looking forward to Harvey continuing his development over the next few seasons to put himself in a position to play for Hull KR’s first team.”
