Hull KR host Huddersfield Giants with the Robins looking to kick on from their Challenge Cup semi-final victory over Catalans Dragons.
The Robins overcame a first half scare to ease past Catalans Dragons and book themselves into a third final in as many years with Willie Peters’ side flying high in 2025.
They’ve lost just once this year with that defeat coming at the hands of Wigan Warriors in Round Seven of Super League. Since then, KR have strung together four wins and they’ll be targetting another against Huddersfield today at Craven Park.
Huddersfield hosted Hull KR earlier in the season and fell to a 50-4 defeat with Mikey Lewis scoring a hat-trick that day. A positive for Luke Robinson’s side is that they did register their first win of the season last time out and they do have a rest advantage, though they’re still priced as 10/1 underdogs for the game.
We’ve predicted how each team will line up with Hull KR having lost Oliver Gildart and the Giants having a couple of players back in contention.
How Hull KR could line up against Huddersfield
Oliver Gildart has undergone surgery and will miss the next four months after his Magic Weekend injury but the Robins have a very capable replacement in Jack Broadbent.
He moves from full-back to centre with Arthur Mourgue returning to full-back, having been cup-tied against Catalans this past weekend. Noah Booth would also be an option in the centres but Broadbent and Hiku would be the clear first choice options.
That means James Batchelor moves back into the pack which has been very consistent in 2025. A bench of Bill Leyland, Sam Luckley, Kelepi Tanginoa and Jai Whitbread also seems likely with the three forwards having played that impact role for much of the season.
Predicted Hull KR XIII: Arthur Mourgue; Tom Davies, Peta Hiku, Jack Broadbent, Joe Burgess; Mikey Lewis, Tyrone May; Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, Jez Litten, Sauaso Sue; James Batchelor, Dean Hadley, Elliot Minchella
Interchanges: Bill Leyland, Sam Luckley, Kelepi Tanginoa, Jai Whitbread

How Huddersfield Giants could line up against the Robins
It’s arguably the strongest squad that Luke Robinson has had available to him with a number of key men returning. Harry Rushton and George King, the former Hull KR prop, are two of them and King could make his long-awaited debut for his hometown club.
Tom Burgess drops out but the forward pack is so strong that it could allow for George King, Jack Murchie and Matty English as interchange options, a luxury that Robinson hasn’t had all season.
George Flanagan was exceptional at full-back last time out so could retain that role with Jacob Gagai set to play on the wing alongside former South Sydney Rabbitohs teammate Taane Milne at centre.
Adam Clune will partner Kieran Rush in the halves with Zac Woolford completing the spine.
Predicted Huddersfield Giants XIII: George Flanagan; Jacob Gagai, Taane Milne, Sam Halsall, Adam Swift; Kieran Rush, Adam Clune; Oliver Wilson, Zac Woolford, Joe Greenwood; Harry Rushton, Sam Hewitt, Leroy Cudjoe
Interchanges: Ashton Golding, George King, Jack Murchie, Matty English
