Hull KR

Hull KR booked their spot in this year’s Challenge Cup final with a 36-12 win over Catalans Dragons at the LNER Community Stadium.

Here’s our ratings from the clash.

Jack Broadbent: The star man. The full-back produced two moments in the second half to kill the game off and get the party started. 9

Tom Davies: Carried well when he had to and dealt with everything defensively in a solid return to the side. 7

Peta Hiku: Didn’t cover himself in glory in the build up to Reimis Smith’s try, but recovered and looked the part with the ball in hand. 7

James Batchelor: He continues to impress at centre, scoring two tries in the first half to get the ball rolling for the Robins and becoming part of an exceptionally solid edge. 9

Joe Burgess: Took his try very well and caught the eye with his defensive work impressing too. 8

Mikey Lewis: Had a hand in all three first half tries, scoring the one just before half-time after Jai Whitbread managed to poke himself through the line. 8

Tyrone May: Quieter than his half-back partner but dictated play well, moved the ball and played a key role in helping the Robins establish dominance. 8

Sauaso Sue: Went head to head with Catalans’ early doors and had a disagreement with Tevita Pangai Jr. Provided a powerful presence through the middle despite the heat. 8

Jez Litten: A superb showing from the hooker. Kept going and produced two or three moments of magic in the second half. 9

Jared Waerea-Hargreaves: Steady away and got a number of key fast play the balls. 7

Dean Hadley: Worked tirelessly in the back-row with most of his best work coming in defence, running his blood to water. 8

Jai Whitbread: Caught the eye in the first half with the joy he found in attack. 8

Elliot Minchella: Relished the physical battle through the middle and helped Rovers keep their cool in the heat. 8

Sam Luckley: Picked up a head knock in the first half but returned to help Hull KR over the line. 7

Kelepi Tanginoa: Ran hard on his return from the head knock that saw him miss last week. 7

Jack Brown: Enjoyed a couple of strong carries. 7

Bill Leyland: Entered the fray late for Jez Litten. 6
