Hull KR make Oliver Gildart call and lose veteran prop as Castleford Tigers ring the changes ahead of Super League clash

Round 10 of Super League kicks off at Craven Park, where Hull KR will welcome Castleford Tigers this evening.

KR are looking for their sixth straight win, having fully turned a corner from their early season woes.

Castleford go into the game on the back of a 50-10 hammering from Hull FC, but with new additions in the team the side will have increased confidence they can get another upset result this season.

With just under 90 minutes to go before kick-off, the teams have been confirmed, and both sides have made changes to last week’s line-ups.

Starting with the hosts, they have made calls on both Oliver Gildart and Joe Burgess, after the edge pairing both missed out in Saturday’s win over Bradford Bulls.

Burgess returns to the wing in place of Noah Booth, that switch was confirmed by Willie Peters in mid-week. Gildart’s inclusion wasn’t revealed however, but he too will make a comeback this week.

Jez Litten will start the game on the bench, allowing Karl Lawton to have a rare start, whilst there is no Sauaso Sue this week, with the prop missing out on selection.

The visitors have handed out debuts to four players, with Tom Nicholson-Watton, on loan from Leeds, Brad Dwyer, on loan from Salford RLFC, Tyler Dupree and Phoenix Laulu-Togaga’e all making their first appearances under Ryan Carr.

George Lawler drops out after his two-match suspension, as does Liam Hood, who has picked up a significant neck injury. Former Wigan man George Hirst is another of the changes after he failed a HIA last week.

Laulu-Togaga’e starts at full-back, with Zac Cini slotting in at centre. Mikaele Ravalawa drops out of the side, with Darnell McIntosh moving to the wing. Dupree will start the game at prop, whilst Dwyer is another to make his debut, with him starting at hooker.

Prop Nicholson-Watton will start on the bench, as does Cain Robb, who will play his first game of the year.
