After Hull KR released, quite frankly, one of the most divisive away strips Super League has ever seen, the club have taken feedback from their fans on board, and changed parts of the kit to make it look more appeasing.
The treble-winners opted for a teal colour to form the away jersey, with yellow as a secondary colour.
Whilst the shirt itself is a nice one, the club decided to pair it with bright yellow shorts, which made the kit look more ‘EE’ than ‘KR’.

Following feedback from fans, the club have now decided to change the colour of the shorts so that they match the shirt, and will now have a full teal away strip as they look to defend all three titles, as well as add one more to the cabinet, the World Club Challenge, in 2026.
Part of the statement released by the club reads:
“We agree, we’re not sure on the shorts now either, so we are going to change them.”
“Sometimes, when you are smashing out one record selling kit after another, you push things a bit too far.”
“Shorts and socks for kits are never a massive seller, so it’s not about making money, it’s about what looks right and compliments the shirt.”
The Rovers have also confirmed that anyone who has bought a pair of yellow shorts or socks already will be sent a brand new pair free of charge once the stock arrives in January.
