Hull KR hit ticket milestone for Challenge Cup final in less than 24 hours

Hull KR fans celebrate Challenge Cup semi-final victory

Hull KR fans are already getting their tickets for next month’s trip to the Challenge Cup final at Wembley Stadium and have hit a milestone in ticket sales in less than 24 hours.

10,000 tickets have already been sold for the final, with many fans booking their day out in London soon after the final whistle in York.

Hull KR are through to their third final in as many years after making the 2023 Challenge Cup Final and last year’s Grand Final at Old Trafford, ending on the losing side in both.

The 2025 Cup final could see a repeat of that 2023 final, should Leigh Leopards win today, but Warrington Wolves stand in their way of another Wembley trip.

Rovers beat Catalans Dragons on Saturday 36-12 following an impressive second-half display from the Robins.

Hull KR hoping for record ticket sales for Challenge Cup Final

They have been allocated the East side of Wembley Stadium, and with tickets selling quickly, Rovers fans will have to be fast to secure their spots with their fellow supporters.

Hull KR’s last trip to Wembley Stadium in 2023 had an overall attendance of 58,213, which they will be hoping to better in 2025.

The club have also announced that coach travel tickets are now available in addition to a special non-stop service on Hull Trains between Hull and London King’s Cross.

The men’s Challenge Cup final will be held on Saturday 7th June, with a 3:00pm kick-off and is sandwiched between the women’s Challenge Cup Final starting at 11:45am and the 1895 Cup Final at 5:45pm.

Hull KR will be joined at Wembley Stadium by Wigan Warriors women’s side as they beat Leeds Rhinos 44-14 prior to the Hull KR and Catalans Dragons semi-final at York’s LNER Community Stadium.

It is their first ever Challenge Cup final appearance as they bid for their first piece of silverware since picking the second-ever Women’s Super League title back in 2018.

Figures have also been released for the TV coverage of the men’s semi-final shown live on BBC1, with a 438,000 average viewership. 528,000 watched at peak coverage with a 9.6% audience share.
