Reigning Champions Hull KR continue to have success on and off the field, with their latest announcement proving just that.
Following exceptional demand, the club have confirmed that the South Stand seating area will become a permanent addition over the course of the campaign, as to allow for the increase in ticket sales and season memberships.
The club have already sold out eight home fixtures, as well as boasting 10,000 season members. The World Club Challenge game against Brisbane Broncos also sold out before the ticketing process reached general sale, highlighting the demand.
The additional seating will allow up to 1,062 more fans into the ground, and will be situated in front of ‘Craven Streat’. Not only will it mean that the club can bring in more profit, but it will also add to the already daunting home atmosphere at Craven Park having fans on all four sides of the ground.
Commenting on the achievement, Robins CEO Paul Lakin said:
“The demand for tickets and memberships ahead of the 2026 season has been nothing short of remarkable. Selling out eight home games and surpassing 10,000 full-season members so early is a testament to the unwavering support of our fans.
Bringing back the South Stand for every Betfred Super League home fixture was a natural step for the club to ensure as many supporters as possible can be part of what promises to be another exciting season.”
The Rovers will get the chance to defend all the trophies with increased support, something that the club have been trying to accommodate for a while.
The news came via a statement from the club, part of which read:
“Everyone at Hull KR would like to thank all supporters for their continued commitment and backing, which has played a crucial role in making this expansion possible.”
“The return of the South Stand marks another significant milestone in the Robins’ ongoing development and ambition.”
