Hull KR and Hull FC remain top five for Super League Magic Weekend ticket sales but new club tops chart

Super League have offered an update on which clubs have sold the most tickets for Magic Weekend, with a different club topping the chart.

The last update from Super League came back in December and announced that treble winners Hull KR had sold the most tickets for Magic Weekend, with the Robins set to face their rivals Hull FC at Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Amid doubts that the showpiece event of the Super League season was to be cut given the removal of loop fixtures, Magic Weekend survived and it’s also been reinvigorated with a new stadium set to host it at Everton and the renewal of rivalry games for the event.

That’s led to incredible ticket sales with the pre-sale record broken and a 400% increase recorded as more than 25,000 tickets sold before they were even available for general sale.

The 2026 event will be unique in that Toulouse and Catalans will play away from Everton, instead facing off in the south of France at a neutral venue with the twelve UK-based Super League clubs playing across the two days at Everton.

St Helens top Super League Magic Weekend ticket sales

Whilst it was announced back in December that Hull KR led the ticket sales, there’s now a new club on top and it’s another of the sides involved in one of the major derbies.

St Helens, who play Wigan Warriors on the Sunday, have sold the most tickets, as revealed by Super League with Hull KR dropping into second.

Saints and KR’s opponents, Wigan Warriors and Hull FC respectively, sit third and fourth for sales, whilst Warrington Wolves complete the top five with Wire set to face Leigh Leopards on day one.

Back in December, it was actually Wire’s opponents Leigh who sat inside the top five but they’ve been overtaken by fans of Sam Burgess’ side, who have already seen their side perform strongly in pre-season when they recorded a 50-12 win over Widnes Vikings.

The games at Everton’s ground are as follows:

Saturday, 4th July

York Knights vs Huddersfield Giants

Hull FC vs Hull KR

Leigh Leopards vs Warrington Wolves

Sunday, 5th July

Wakefield Trinity vs Castleford Tigers

Leeds Rhinos vs Bradford Bulls

Wigan Warriors vs St Helens
