Both Hull KR and Hull FC have revealed a number of loan moves for their fringe and emerging players, as they all look to find game time in the Championship.
With no reserves fixutres this week, it is a good chance to give those players experience in the second tier, where they will often be up against much stronger opposition.
The same situation has occured at Leeds Rhinos, with them having a total of nine players out on loan, be that in Super League or elsewhere.
Starting with the Robins, who have already allowed Bill Leyland to join St Helens on loan, they have let two of their youngsters head out, with Zach Fishwick heading to Halifax Panthers.
Fishwick made his Super League debut in 2022, but hasn’t feauted for the Robins’ first team since that season.
Also on the move is Harvey Horne, who joins Goole Vikings.
Horne will be joined by a number of Hull FC players this week, including the Kemp brothers – Callum and Lloyd.
The playmaking pair have both joined Scott Taylor’s side this week, as has forward Joe Phillips.
The Vikings have a strong connection with the Black and Whites, largely due to Taylor’s prior experience at the club as a player.
Goole take on London Broncos this week in their toughest league game of the season so far, meanwhile Fishwick and Halifax will be up against Keighley Cougars.
