Hull KR and Castleford Tigers have become the second and third Super League clubs to launch their shirt for the upcoming 2026 campaign.
Leeds Rhinos were the first to do so, announcing their 2026 shirt just before they played in their Super League play-off clash with St Helens.
The Rhinos opted for a darker blue than what you would normally associate with them, however, both Hull KR and Castleford Tigers have gone very traditional with both cubs celebrating somewhat of a centenary year.
For Castleford, it does mark the 100th year of the club and that’s already seen the launch of a new badge, which obviously features on their new shirt.
As for Hull KR, 2026 marks 100 years since the launch of the famous song associated with the club – not Erasure – but instead their traditional ‘When the Red, Red Robin’ song.
That was created in 1926 with Hull KR, who had previously been known as ‘Redbreasts’ or ‘Robin Redbreasts’ due to the red band around their white shirt, then becoming more commonly referred to as the Robins as they embraced the song and sung it on matchday.

With Hull KR leaning into their nickname of the Robins for 2026, the shirt features that nickname heavily with the sleeve cuffs emblazoned with ‘The Robins’.
Meanwhile, a Red Robin 100 logo also features on the shirt whilst the shirt itself is more stripped back than previous versions with a thick red band around the midriff, along with red cuffs and colour in a simple red and white contrast.
Put simply as the Hull KR marketing team have done: “White shirt, red band. Bosh”, and to an extent, that’s all it is but it does work very well with fans offering rave reviews so far.

Castleford Tigers celebrate 100th year with new shirt
Castleford have also gone classic with theirs, keeping the simple black and amber colour scheme that is so closely associated with the club.
Their new badge, which caught some flak, features with black trim on both the cuffs and collar, with the collar being a traditional collar as well.
Club legends were used to promote it and there’s a special reason why as the names of 100 Castleford Tigers legends are embossed within the fabric, a nod to the 100 years of existence.
Evident from the images are the names of players such as Luke Gale, Andy Lynch and current player Joe Westerman.
Owner Martin Jepson said: “This year’s home shirt had to be special — we had to pay respect to the players who have given us everything over the last 100 years. I’m delighted that we have been able to include the names of all those in our Hall of Fame within the shirt, and I hope this will be a big hit with my fellow Cas fans.”
