On the back of new deals for Aidan Sezer and Ligi Sao this week, Hull FC have confirmed another contract extension.
Sezer extended his deal to the end of 2027 whilst off-contract forward Ligi Sao was signed up for 2026 and now, off-contract winger Tom Briscoe has become the latest to earn a new deal.
Hull FC have confirmed that the 35-year-old has re-signed for 2026 with the club holding an option for 2027 as well.
The veteran winger is in his second spell at the club, rejoining midway through 2024 after first leaving the club in 2013. His first spell saw him rack up almost 150 appearances with 90 tries scored, whilst this second spell now tallies 40 games and 11 tries.
With his contract extended into 2026, Briscoe could surpass the 450-game mark and progress even further up the Super League all-time try-scoring charts, having moved to ninth earlier this season. Briscoe is expected to start this weekend against Warrington in the absence of the suspended Jordan Rapana.

Hull FC sign Tom Briscoe to new one-year deal
Briscoe hasn’t been a mainstay in 2025 with both Lewis Martin and Harvey Barron serving as the club’s first-choice wingers, however, he has filled in as and when needed and massively aided the development of the club’s young outside backs.
He’ll add more depth to those backs in 2026 whilst also being the veteran in the position group with Martin, Barron and other young backs Davy Litten, Logan Moy, Lloyd Kemp and Ryan Westerman all able to learn plenty from him.
That was one of the things that club legend and current director of rugby, Gareth Ellis, said: “While we’re seeing some really bright young backs rise through our ranks at the moment, it’s important that we find that balance of youth and experience in our squad. And seeing Tom remain with us into 2026 does just that.
“He’s had a really important impact on helping develop some of those players since his return to the club – particularly with Lewis and Harvey who have had, and will continue to have, the opportunity to learn from one of the most experienced wingers in the sport.
“He is also continuing to bring his own impact on the field with his energy and enthusiasm he has for this club.”
Meanwhile, Briscoe said: “Being back at the club over the last year and a half has reignited my passion for Hull FC and I’m delighted to extend my time here.
“There is a vision and an ambition from the club, one that I share with the owners, coaches and my fellow team mates, and I didn’t want my time on that journey to come to an end.
“I have really enjoyed supporting some of the younger players in the squad with the experience I am able to bring to the table.
“Watching the development of some of the young outside backs in particular has been exciting so far and I’m confident their upward trajectories will continue.”
