Super League fans disagree over race for sixth as Hull FC and Wakefield Trinity arguments made

The race for who finishes where in the playoffs gets more entertaining as each week passes. With clubs proving that they can beat anyone on their day, predicting any final outcome seems like a lottery at this stage.

In particular though, the race for who finishes in the sixth and final playoff spot seems to be the toughest position to call, and Serious About RL readers have offered their insight into who they believe will make the six, and who misses out.

Currently, the two teams vying for that final place are Hull FC, who sit on 25 points, and Wakefield Trinity, who sit on 24 points. With four rounds left, fans are split as to who they think will reach the latter stages of the competition.

Some fans believe that since Wakefield, on paper, have the easier run of fixtures to end the season, they will be the ones victorious. Daryl Powell’s men face the bottom three sides to round of the season, with a clash against Hull KR sandwiched in between. Hull have a home tie with Leeds and the Hull derby to compete in over the next fortnight, in what will be a tough test for the Black and Whites.
