Huddersfield Giants v Castleford Tigers team news as seven changes made including return of NRL signing

Castleford Tigers travel to face Huddersfield Giants on Saturday in a clash at the foot of Super League and the team news is now in.

Huddersfield are the only winless side in Super League whilst Castleford have only won once so far with the Tigers beating Salford Red Devils, who have plenty of their own problems.

Salford did manage to beat Huddersfield though with the Giants having had a torrid year so far. Injuries have completely derailed them with the likes of Adam Clune, Zac Woolford and Tui Lolohea all out at the moment.

Plenty of others have missed out as well but the Giants are hoping there will be returns in the coming weeks as they look to finally get a win on the board.

As for Castleford, there has been plenty of change there with two loan signings arriving last week and former Leigh Leopards prop Tom Amone arriving for the remainder of the 2025 season.

He was in contention to play today and the team news has now revealed if he made the cut.

Kieran Rush could be set to go straight into the spine as well as Woolford whilst English helps a very young pack out.
